Photographer and first time homeowner Quincy Dein recently completed a major renovation on a 600 square foot one bedroom  condominium in Paia, Hawaii on the island of Maui.  He completely demolished everything down to bare concrete walls in order to open up the floor plan.  Working with such little square footage meant looking for a space-saving room dividing solution to close off the bedroom as well as a low-profile closet door solution. Duxbury, Massachusetts: Asian aesthetic complements the natural surroundings

Homeowners of an energy efficient house on the coast expand their home with an eclectic Asian influenced design, dividing the master bedroom and bath with Japanese doors.

The homeowners wanted to expand their home by adding a second story addition. Originally built in 1978, three of the four sides, as well as the roof, were underground, where temperatures are moderated.

Seven-year-old Jenessa Byers, diagnosed with pediatric cancer, sees her family’s home transformed by the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew into a beautiful Zen-like retreat with the addition of Cherry Tree Design’s shoji and lighting.
